The Missouri Budget Project is estimating that the State will face a $450 million budget shortfall by Fiscal Year 2010. Wondering how the State can go from a $500 million “surplus” in Fiscal Year 2008 to a $450 million projected shortfall in FY 2010? Want to know how this happened and what it means for health care, children’s services, education and other needs? And want to know what you can do about it?
